 Mason Legal Costs was founded by Belinda Mason, who brings over two decades of experience in legal cost consulting. Her career began in 2001, when she joined one of Queensland’s largest legal cost consulting firms. After gaining extensive experience, Belinda launched her own legal costing firm in New South Wales, where she successfully operated for 10 years before relocating back to Queensland in 2013.

Belinda holds an Arts/Law degree from University of Queensland and a Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law (NSW). She was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2004.

Throughout her career, Belinda has collaborated with legal firms of all sizes, as well as large insurance companies, managing legal costs disputes in the millions of dollars. She has also delivered Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for commercial legal providers and by request from members of the legal profession.

Belinda is an active member of the Law Society of Queensland and serves as a Court Appointed Costs Assessor in Queensland.
